2022 Preparatory School Performances of Shakespeare's The Tempest

We are excited to invite you to the Preparatory School Performing Arts Week, taking place during Week 9 of Term 2. Ms Caetlyn Collins, our movement choreographer, has been working with students and staff to create this dance showcase, with The Tempest performance led by Mrs Kellie McCauley and Ms Nichole Runge.
- Tuesday 28 June, 10.00am to 10.45am in ANZAC Hall, Shakespeare’s ‘The Tempest’ dance as performed by students from Reception M, 1R, 2W, 3L, 4M, 5M, 5O, and 5T. Families invited to attend – no bookings required.
- Tuesday 28 June, 11.30am to 12.30pm, in ANZAC Hall, Shakespeare’s ‘The Tempest’ performance dress rehearsal as performed by Year 6 students. Preparatory School staff, students and visiting schools invited to attend.
- Tuesday 28 June, 7.00pm to 8.00pm, in ANZAC Hall, Shakespeare’s ‘The Tempest’ evening performance as performed by Year 6 students. Bookings required and refreshments available after the event. Friends and family invited; please purchase your tickets via Humanitix.
- Wednesday 29 June 10.00am to 10.45am, in ANZAC Hall, Shakespeare’s ‘The Tempest’ dance as performed by students from Reception JB, 1S, 2D, 3B, 4B, 5M, 5O and 5T. Families invited to attend – no bookings required.
- Wednesday 29 June, 11.30am to 12.30pm, in ANZAC Hall, Shakespeare’s ‘The Tempest’ matinee as performed by Year 6 students. Friends and family invited; please purchase your tickets via Humanitix.
- Wednesday 29 June, 7.00pm to 8.00pm, in ANZAC Hall, Shakespeare’s ‘The Tempest’ evening performance as performed by Year 6 students. Bookings required and refreshments available after the event. Friends and family invited; please purchase your tickets via Humanitix.
The boys in Reception through to Year 5 participating in the dance showcase of William Shakespeare’s ‘The Tempest’ will require a plain pair of full length black trackpants and a plain white t-shirt for the performance. Both of these items are currently available cheaply from Kmart, Target, Big W and Best and Less. Can boys please bring their t-shirt and trackpants (both items to be named with their first and last name as well as their class) into their classroom by the end of Week 6, Friday 10 June.
