Mensa can provide further opportunities for our students and community with gifted profiles (IQ in the top 2% of the population) to meet people, exchange ideas and make new friends.Â
Year 6-12 students and members of the Scotch College community (including adults over 18) are invited to apply to join Mensa by sitting the Mensa Supervised Entrance Test. This test will take place at Scotch College and run for 2 hours.Â
Alternatively, you can qualify for membership by providing an existing IQ test administered by a psychologist with General Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.Â
Supervision for students will be available 15 minutes prior to the starting time of the test, and parents are welcome to return at the end of the test for refreshments.Â
To ensure the event proceeds, a minimum of 5 people will need to be registered. Should this number not be reached you will be notified 2 days prior to the event with a new date.
