The 2022 WA Classical Guitar (Ensemble & Solo) Festival

Presented by

The Classical Guitar Society of Western Australia, Inc. (www.guitarwa.com.au); and
Instrumental Music School Services, WA Department of Education (www.det.wa.edu.au)

This festival is an annual event in Western Australia that is potentially the largest of its kind in the Southern hemisphere. With a long history of presenting ensemble performance, it has also included soloists since 2020. The festival provides a unique opportunity for guitarists to perform in a formal yet supportive environment, fostering camaraderie, pedagogical exchange, and cultural enrichment.

Every ensemble and soloist will receive: (1) a written report; and (2) a commemorative certificate. Ensembles also receive a digital copy of a professionally-produced audio recording of their performance.

Guitar Ensembles
