Thank you for purchasing a ticket/s to the Marcellin College 2022 Formal. A reminder that in purchasing this ticket/s each student and their partner agrees to the student expectations outlined below, on the event details in Consent2Go and in the letter.

Student Expectations

It is College policy and an expectation on the evening that no student will attend a pre-formal function that involves the consumption of alcohol or other drugs. We also expect that all parents will support us in this decision. Each student is also expected to be responsible for their partner's behaviour as well as their own. In purchasing tickets to this event each student agrees to the following conditions and expectations:

Each student must present themselves to their House Leader and, if bringing a partner, introduce them to gain entry to the event. House Leaders will record attendance and invite students into the venue to be introduced to Mr Di Cesare.
Any person found to be consuming and/or under the influence of alcohol or any illicit drug will not be admitted into the venue. They will also be required to be picked up from the venue by their parent/carer.
Any cost of damage to the premises caused by a student and/or their partner will be the sole responsibility of the student.
No person will be able to take alcohol or illicit drugs into the premises. Any alcohol or illicit drugs found will be confiscated.
It is the right of the management or security to search any bags to ensure that no alcohol, illicit drugs or illegal items are brought into the venue.
The College is mandated to report illicit drug use to the Police, as stated in the College Student Wellbeing Policy.
Smoking and vaping will not be permitted in or outside the venue.
To ensure Health and Safety regulations are adhered to, no guests will be allowed to loiter on the steps or stage area at any time.
No Pass Out will be issued to any student or partner.
Security personnel will ensure the safety of the guests and to implement the above guidelines.
