How to Expand into Training: Extending Client Relationships to Earn More Money!

With Cara Silletto, CSP

Keynotes can shift participant mindsets and plant the seeds for new ideas, but deeper dive training is often needed to change behavior. If you want to provide clients with greater results and see their transformation through (while creating a more consistent revenue stream for yourself) it may be time to expand your one-hour brillance into a training series that lengthens your relationship with paying clients

In this session, participants will learn

  • Where to start when expanding from keynotes to workshops
  • How to build a multi-month training package for longer-term client contracts
  • Ways to offer more value to clients to increase revenue
  • How to duplicate your talent and build a team of contracted trainers

About Cara Silletto, CSP
NSA Kentucky’s Past-President Cara Silletto, MBA, CSP, will join us to show us under the hood of her unique business model explaining how she successfully transitioned her company from primarily keynote speaking into a larger training company with longer client contracts, bigger deposit checks, and several external facilitators who teach her proprietary material so Cara can stay home more.

Today, Cara’s “day job” is running her training firm, Magnet Culture, and speaking to business leaders and owners across the country about how to reduce unnecessary employee turnover and bridge generational gaps in the workplace. But she’ll share with our NSA chapter how she built her business organically over the last decade growing her revenue by 30% or more each year (except in 2020, of course), and building a team of staff and contracted trainers.

Cara’s path to speaking is an interesting one as she started her career on the stage at age 7 in the Silletto Family Band (yes, just like the Partridge Family). She earned her MBA in Entrepreneurship from the University of Louisville in 2010, and Cara says she hit the jackpot when she found the perfect job as a professional speaker because it blends her passions for both business and performance into one amazing career! Cara earned her Certified Speaking Professional (CSP) designation from NSA in 2020.

Doors open for networking at 8:15 am. The program will begin at 8:45 am and end at 12:00 noon.

We've recently upgraded our livestream experience for those who cannot attend in person. All registrants will receive a recording of the event.
