2023 Annual Industry Dinner
Event description
The Annual Industry Dinner will be held on Friday 11th August at Mt Duneed Estate from 6:30pm-10:30pm. This event provides an opportunity for undergraduate engineers, industry professionals and academics to network and socialize in a relaxed and friendly environment. This event is open to graduate and undergraduate engineers of any discipline or career stage.
The theme for this year’s Annual Industry Dinner is ‘Engineering the future’. Throughout the evening there will be a number of presentations from guest speakers and an interactive address from a panel of established engineers.
The Annual Industry Dinner is our society’s most significant event, having hosted attendance from over 150 engineering professionals, industry members, Deakin University lecturers, researchers, alumni and students in previous years. It is considered our students’ best chance at meeting their future employer, securing an internship or simply just getting to know familiar faces in the local industry.
Your ticket to the evening includes a formal 2 course meal with complimentary beer and wine. This event has a formal dress code.
