2023 CLAANZ Annual Conference: Charities in a Time of Change

CLAANZ is delighted to announce the details of its annual conference. The conference will be held at Corrs Chambers Westgarth on Wurundjeri Country, Level 25, 567 Collins Street, Melbourne, Victoria.

Morning and afternoon tea, as well as a light lunch will be provided. CLAANZ is grateful for the support of Corrs Chambers Westgarth in hosting our event and providing online support. We are also offering virtual attendance at the conference via Zoom.

As in previous years, the conference is being held adjacent to the ACNC Regulators Day. The Regulators Day will be held on Friday 28 July 2023; we will post a link to more details when we have them.

1. Choose a conference ticket

Tickets range in price for this hybrid in-person and online event. Listed pricing includes GST, but the total ticket price (in AUD) will include a small additional online booking fee. If you’re not sure about your current membership status, please email admin@claanz.org.au for an update.

Student concession tickets are for students enrolled at a tertiary education institution in Australia or New Zealand.

As the venue has limited capacity, we ask you to limit your bulk-ticket purchase (of in person tickets – no limit to online) to 10 per organisation. Member pricing is offered to any organisations registering 10 people. [Tables of 10 now closed]

The CLAANZ AGM will directly follow the conference.

2. Decide whether you’ll attend the post-conference dinner [Dinner tickets now closed]

The two-course dinner will be held at The Essoign Club, 1/205 William Street, Melbourne, approximately 10 minutes by foot from the conference venue. Drinks will be purchased from the bar. Please select this option at the time of registration for the conference if you wish to join us.

3. Consider whether you need to renew your membership with CLAANZ

CLAANZ is moving to an annual membership model whereby renewal will occur in June each year, in the lead-up to the annual conference. Thank you for your patience as we  implement this new model. 

What this means for you: 

• If you became a member or renewed in 2022, we kindly ask you to please renew your membership by choosing a membership option when selecting your tickets. Your CLAANZ membership will continue until 30 June 2024. 
• If you became a member or renewed in 2023, there is no need to renew again now. Your membership will continue until 30 June 2024.
• If you are not yet a member but would like to be, welcome!
