    Event description

The King’s School Football Club is excited to invite the King's Football Community, past and present, to our Club Luncheon to celebrate the 2023 season. It will be a chance for us all to meet and welcome new football families.

TKSFC have organised a fun filled afternoon of food, drink, auction, music and special guest speaker Alex Tobin, OAM.

Alex Tobin represented Australia 87 times from 1988, captaining the Socceroos for 3 years. He is the longest serving player in the domestic game helping Adelaide City to 3 NSL titles and 2 Australia Cups. He broke through into the Adelaide City senior team in 1984 at 18 and formed the heart of the defence alongside Milan Ivanovic. Excellent in the air and very solid on the ground his reliability and resilience marked him out as an exceptional.
For the last 15 years the Alex Tobin Award has been presented to the player who reflects the same level of leadership, achievement, commitment and dedication to the game that Alex did during his 20 year professional career.
