2023 French Tech NZ Awards Night
Event description
Join us on Thursday 2 November at the GridAKL / John Lysaght to celebrate New Zealand and France’s Leadership in Technology and Innovation at the inaugural French Tech NZ Awards Night!
The French Tech NZ Awards have the ambition to highlight the presence, standard, and quality of the innovative tech companies in Aotearoa New Zealand and in the French Pacific Islands, as well as their value to the economy, their expertise, and their connection to France.
The 2023 edition will reward NZ and French companies and individuals operating in the Tech for Good sphere with five awards. It will be a unique opportunity to meet the technology and innovation ecosystem, leading figures and decision-makers across the francophile community, whilst enjoying some fine food and beverages, in the presence of Laurence Beau, Ambassador of France to New Zealand, the Cook Islands and Samoa.
Our MC will be David Downs, ex-comedian and CEO of The New Zealand Story, an ambitious organisation marketing New Zealand to the world. David is a well-known figure in the NZ tech sector, having held senior roles at organisations such as Microsoft, New Zealand Trade & Enterprise, published two highly successful books on NZ innovation, and acting as chairman of the board of The Icehouse and the Hi-Tech Trust.
In addition to celebrating all award entrants and winners with our community, you'll get to enjoy delicious French foods and wines from some of the best local brands: Maison Vauron, L’Authentique, Copain, and Little French Pastries!
