    Event description

The IBMD Research Week is an annual academic event for biotechnology researchers from across the world to exchange ideas and explore collaboration opportunities.

Organised by the Institute for Biomedical Materials and Devices (IBMD), Faculty of Science for the 4th time, the 2023 event is bigger and better than ever! It will consist of a week-long series of symposiums and research networking activities on the topics of photonics, nanotechnology, single-molecule biotechnology, nanothermometry, wearable sensors/devices, volumetric biomedical imaging, computational and digital imaging technologies.

Over 50 distinguished guests and academicians from Australia, China, US, UK, Singapore and Korea have confirmed to come. Overall, we anticipate a total of well over 200 participants.

The dates of the event are 2 - 10 June 2023, which coincides with the spectacular VIVID Sydney - the Light, Music, Foods & Ideas Festival. We look forward to welcoming you to Sydney!
