International Women's Day is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity.

We would like to invite you to join us this year as we acknowledge International Women's Day and celebrate all the incredibly strong women in our lives, particularly those who we have supported at Mary's House Services. We represent this years' International Women's Day theme #EmbraceEquity through the lens of domestic violence in our community.

Please join us and our community of supporters at the Kirribilli Club on Friday 10 March to raise much needed funds to help us to continue the vital work that we do in supporting women and children live a life free of violence and abuse.

Jacinta Tynan

Jacinta Tynan is one of Australia's most experienced journalists and news presenters with some thirty years reporting and presenting in Australia and overseas, most recently as an anchor with Sky News Australia. As well as presenting live, rolling news, Jacinta produced and and hosted ‘Change Makers’, interviewing people and organisations making a positive difference in the world.

Jacinta is also a columnist, author and mother to two young sons.

She has just published her fifth book, The Single Mother’s Social Club - Inspiration and advice on embracing single parenthood.

Passionate about social causes, Jacinta is Patron of The Warrior Woman Foundation and an Ambassador for Raise Foundation providing in-school mentoring to high school kids across the country.

Anna Sheppard 

Anna believes in a future where every leader and organisation is committed to creating a sustainable world of equality and opportunity for everyone.

Anna Sheppard, is a social entrepreneur with a deep commitment to equality. Anna is the Founder and CEO of Bambuddha Group an enterprise that provides leadership coaching, education and social responsibility programs. Anna and Bambuddha Group have won multiple awards for work in this space, including being recognised as one of the ‘Top 10 Leadership Development Training and Coaching Companies 2021 in APAC’, ‘Top 50 leading light for APAC’, ‘Top 50 most impactful LinkedIn Influencers’, a 2021 NSW Business Awards finalist and currently a finalist for 2022 Telstra Best of Business Awards.

Prinnie Stevens


Prinnie Stevens
is undoubtedly one of Australia’s most sought after performers – an incredible singer, dancer and actress.

Prinnie is best known for her time on 'The Voice' Season 1 where she successfully battled her best friend Mahalia Barnes, made the top 4 in Team Joel and hasn’t look back since. She joined the cast of 'Celebrity Apprentice' shortly after, went on to become the Co-host on 'The Voice Kids' Season 1 where she was able to mentor young Australians with their passion for singing.

Prinnie continues to be one of Australia's true triple threats, juggling between TV, musicals and a recording career.


Zoe Marshall


Zoe Marshall
is a podcast creator and a mother of two. Zoe has worked in the media for over 12 years. From having her own column in the newspaper to co-hosting a radio show with her husband Benji Marshall.

Zoe has co-hosted 4 radio shows in both NZ and Australia as well as hosted travel, cooking and wellness shows. 

Zoe is also a victim/survivor of a four year domestic violence relationship.
