2023 JPC Academics in the Primary School
Event description
The commencement of the new school year serves as a wonderful opportunity to build a strong rapport with all individuals of the learning community.
In order to forge strong partnerships with families and to support the learning journey of our students, we will be hosting a Prep - Year Six Parent Information Evening on Wednesday, 8 February commencing at 6:00pm.
The evening will commence in the ARC with an overview of our vision for learning and teaching. Parents then move to the classrooms to discuss learning in more detail with your child’s teacher. The teachers will guide you through the classroom and provide an opportunity for exploration of equipment, practical activities and learning experiences your child will participate in each day at school. This is also a great opportunity to spend time with other parents and to make valuable connections to enhance your child’s educational journey.
For parents with more than one child in the Primary School, we will run two sessions for classroom visits. Please note that the same information will be provided at each session.
The schedule for the evening will be as follows:
6:00pm Head of Primary Welcome and Overview of Teaching and Learning
6:30pm Session One- Classroom Visit
7:00pm Session Two- Classroom Visit (repeat of Session One)
7:30pm Conclusion of the evening
