This Girl Can – Victoria celebrates and supports Victorian women (yep, you!) to embrace physical activity in a way that suits you. Whether it’s a little or a lot, what matters is getting some movement into your day.

Maribyrnong Girls Can is providing free and fun physical activity and wellbeing programs around the City of Maribyrnong.

Program Description:

A fast-paced group fitness class that uses intense bursts of exercise followed by short periods of rest or active recovery. Burn calories, boost metabolism, and improve cardiovascular fitness with exercises targeting different muscle groups and movements. Modifications and progressions provided. Come ready to work hard, sweat, and experience the benefits of HIIT training.

Suitable for: Women aged 18+

Maribyrnong Girls Can is an inclusive program and welcomes all who identify as women, from all cultural backgrounds and abilities.

What to bring: Wear active wear and runners. Bring a water bottle and a towel.

Where to meet: Go to Reception inside RecWest Footscray

Cancellation policy - Inclement weather

• In the case of inclement weather and a program needing to be cancelled, you will be notified via email with at least 2 hours warning prior to the commencement of your program.

• If you do not receive a cancellation email, it means the program is still being delivered.

Please notify the facilitator at the start of the session if you have any injuries or restrictions to movement so that these can be accommodated.
