2023 Maribyrnong Girls Can - Yoga in the Park

This Girl Can – Victoria celebrates and supports Victorian women (yep, you!) to embrace physical activity in a way that suits you. Whether it’s a little or a lot, what matters is getting some movement into your day.

Maribyrnong Girls Can is providing free and fun physical activity and wellbeing programs around the City of Maribyrnong.

Program Description:

Enjoy a yoga practice amidst the beauty of nature with my one hour Hatha Flow Yoga class held outdoors. Feel the gentle breeze, listen to the soothing sounds of the environment, and connect with the earth as you flow through invigorating poses. Join me for an empowering hour of harmonising mind, body, and spirit in the serenity of the great out doors.

Suitable for: Women aged 18+ 

Maribyrnong Girls Can is an inclusive program and welcomes all who identify as women, from all cultural backgrounds and abilities.

What to bring: Yoga mat, yoga blocks if you have any, water bottle and warm clothing.

Where to meet: Beaton Reserve - meet at the grass area on Blackwood St side of the reserve next to the Community Centre.

Cancellation policy - Inclement weather

• In the case of inclement weather and a program needing to be cancelled, you will be notified via email with at least 2 hours warning prior to the commencement of your program.

• If you do not receive a cancellation email, it means the program is still being delivered.

Please notify the facilitator at the start of the session if you have any injuries or restrictions to movement so that these can be accommodated.
