2023 Methodist Ladies' College Foundation Gala

Our community is warmly invited to join us at our 2023 MLC Spring Gala. We are looking forward to welcoming our Collegians, parents and staff (past and present) and friends of the College to the MLC campus for an unforgettable evening of fun and philanthropy.

Friday 17 November
6.30pm onwards
 Meredith Taylor Health and Sports Centre, Methodist Ladies' College
Dress code: Black tie
 $280 per ticket. Bookings can be made for individuals or groups of 10 people (one captain, one table) and are non-refundable. 

Bookings close: Friday 27 October or when sold out. Tickets are limited, so book early to avoid missing out.

Hear from Principal, Rebecca Clarke and Chair of Foundation, Jonathan Carapetis, and enjoy incredible performances, outstanding food and wine, an exciting live auction with plenty of fun and dancing. Hosted by the MLC Foundation, the focus of the evening will be celebrating community and raising funds to support MLC students, now and in the future. 

Guests will witness the Meredith Taylor Health and Sports Centre be transformed into a stunning Spring wonderland; symbolic of the seeds we will plant together on the night, flourishing in the years to come. 

We are thrilled to host the Spring Gala in this venue given its philanthropic journey. It exists due to the generosity of many MLC families, largely the McClements (Taylor) family, and will be the perfect setting for such an iconic MLC Foundation event. 


Booking process

Tickets are sold individually or in groups of 10. Please ensure your group of 10 is completely filled at the time of booking. If you do not plan to organise a group of 10, please select the number of individual tickets you require.

Group bookings

The table captain selects group of 10. Please add the names of each of your 10 guests and dietary requirements at the time of booking. Purchase your group (1 group per person only) in one transaction (total $2800). This will ensure you are all seated together. 

Tickets are available MLC parents and guardians, past parents, staff and collegians. There are no refunds available for gala tickets. 

All communication regarding the booking will be sent to the group captain. The group captain will be responsible for communicating event and table information to all the group members. 

Individual bookings

Individual tickets at $280 each will be available under 'General Admission - Individual'. Please be sure to add names and dietary requirements.


If you are unsuccessful booking tickets, we encourage you to join the waitlist as additional capacity may become available.

MLC Gala Sponsorship Opportunities

This event will be made possible due to the generous support of so many individuals and businesses in our community. Opportunities are available for the MLC community to be involved in the MLC Foundation Gala through event sponsorship.
