2023 MQBS Banking and Finance Forum

Dear Esteemed Guest,

We are delighted to announce that the Department of Applied Finance at Macquarie Business School will be hosting our inaugural forum on banking and finance sponsored by Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC) Sydney. This important event will take place on Monday, the 7th of August, 2023, from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm at the Arts Precinct Building C Level 1, Function Room – C122 at Macquarie University, Macquarie Park, NSW 2109.

The aim is to make this forum a standout event in the Australian banking and finance industry, promoting meaningful interactions between industry professionals and academic scholars. The forum is a blend of industry and academic sessions. The morning will be dedicated to the industry session, featuring key figures from the banking sector. The afternoon will shift to the academic session, featuring keynote speeches from esteemed scholars like Professor Alberto Rossi from Georgetown University, who is also the Associate Editor of Management Science, and Professor Ross Buckley, ARC Laureate Fellow from the School of Private & Commercial Law at UNSW.
