The New Zealand Asian Studies Society (NZASIA) will hold its 25th Biennial Conference in Christchurch from 29 November to 1 December, 2023. This year’s conference will be hosted by the School of Language, Social and Political Sciences, University of Canterbury. Our biennial conference is multidisciplinary and aims to bring together scholars working in all areas of Asian studies. We welcome contributions from established academics, emerging scholars, and postgraduate students.

- Paper presenters must complete their registration and payment by 15 October in order to be included in the Conference Programme.
- Other participants must complete their registration by 1 November.
- There will be a 15% administrative charge for cancellations and no refunds after 15 November.
- Conference registration prices include day catering and attendance at all sessions as listed in the programme.
- Please note that all prices are in New Zealand Dollars and include 15% Goods and Services Tax
- Early Bird rates are available until 15 September 2023
