Join us for a 4-part course taught by Organic certification experts and learn what to expect when certifying Organic, how to decide if certified Organic is right for you, how to create an Organic Site Plan (OSP), how to choose a certifying agency, and what Organic certification will cost.

Tuesday April 25th: Intro To Organic Certification-10-11:00am

Tuesday May 9th: Organic System Plan-10-12pm

Tuesday June 6th: Mock farm inspection- 9am-11am (location farm TBD)

Tuesday August 8th: one to one 30-min. appointments to go over individual Organic System Plans

Courses will be taught in-person at the Sierra Harvest office, and at the on-site mock farm inspection (location will be determined). This class will be taught by local Organic certification experts Paul Glowaski and Seth Rosmarin.

This course is designed to prepare your farm to submit your application for Organic certification! $95 includes attendance at all 4-parts of this course for up to 2 people per farm/ranch business. Limited scholarships available.
