Project by Project - Los Angeles (PbP-LA) is proud to present the 26th Annual Plate by Plate-LA on Saturday, September 30, 2023 at the TenTen Downtown.

Starting from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM, the annual tasting benefit is one of PbP-LA’s favorite signature events of the year, where over a dozen of the Asian American community’s top chefs, restaurants, leaders, influencers, and culinary brands all gather to celebrate 22 years of service and philanthropy within the Southern California Asian American community.

The formal evening of luxurious indulgences is designed to raise awareness and benefit the PbP-LA and its mission to develop leaders through innovative philanthropy, while guests enjoy sampling signature dishes, participate in a silent auction, and attend the highly celebrated after-party. In typical fashion, PbP-LA will invite nonprofit organizations, elected officials, community influencers, and professionals from various industries to learn more about our 2023 campaign theme of Education Access and our beneficiary partner.

This year’s fundraising will support Project by Project (PbP) to continue our mission of developing leaders through innovative philanthropy. Proceeds from Plate by Plate will go towards helping PbP-LA support Hope Community Services continue youth and senior programs. Founded in 1995, Hope Community Services, located in Orange County, has been instrumental in supporting the Vietnamese community by delivering educational programs, including youth summer camps, after-school tutoring, and senior English Second Language classes. PbP-LA looks forward to contributing to HOPE’s mission as they build pathways so that Vietnamese Americans and the AAPI community can not only survive but thrive in our beautiful nation.

In addition to fundraising through Plate by Plate, our 2023 campaign theme of Education Access entails educating the API community about Education Access through our pro bono consulting work, volunteerism, and advocacy and partnership with our beneficiary partner, Hope Community Services. The theme of Education Access explores a wide array of issues aimed at Asian American Representation in Academia, English Language Proficiency, Student Loans & Financial Literacy, Vocational Careers and apprenticeship, Affirmative Action, Racial Equity Lens of K-12 Education Policy, and Mental Health of Asian American Students.
