2023 Spring into Summer Series - Nature Warriors Maribyrnong

Program Description:

Help our local wildlife and learn how to care for it, through hands-on activities that make a difference right away in Maribyrnong City. Meet your local friends' groups, get fit outdoors, and have fun doing it.

Please note there is no session on Tuesday 7th November - Melbourne Cup Public Holiday.

Suitable for: Anyone over the age of 4 years old. Children under 18 years old need to be supervised by an adult.

Event dates: 

Session 1: Tuesday 31 October
No session for Melbourne Cup Public Holiday
Session 2: Tuesday 14 November
Session 3: Tuesday 21 November
Session 4: Tuesday 28 November

What to bring: Closed footwear and full body cover (long sleeve top and long pants). Bring a drink bottle and hat as well as sun protection and wet weather gear as appropriate.

Where to meet: Pipemakers Park. Off Van Ness Av Maribyrnong. Meet outside the living museum car park in Pipemakers Park

If you are no longer able to attend your Spring into Summer Series program:

Please cancel your registration through Humanitix. If you fail to cancel your registration or if you don’t inform Council you are unable to attend the first session, your place in the program will be given to someone on the waitlist after the first session.

To cancel your ticket:

1. Go to your Humanitix confirmation email 
2. Select Update Order
3. Click on the Refunds tab
4. Tick the box next to the participant's name that you would like to cancel
5. Select Refund

Cancellation policy - Inclement weather

• In the case of inclement weather and a program needing to be cancelled, you will be notified via email with at least 2 hours warning prior to the commencement of your program.

• If you do not receive a cancellation email, it means the program is still being delivered.

Additional Information:

Please notify the facilitator at the start of the session if you have any injuries or restrictions to movement so that these can be accommodated.
