2023 Tasmanian ICT Conference

The 11th annual Tasmanian ICT Conference + Innovation Exhibition + Tasmanian Government ICT Industry Summit + TasICT Gala Dinner will be held on Friday November 10, at the C3 Convention Centre South Hobart. 

Tasmanian ICT Conference: The event is free to attend, but all delegates must register online before 5.00pm on Thursday November 9. Any duplicate registrations received for the same person will be deleted from the system without notice. Check-in is from 8.30am on Friday November 10. A conference lanyard, name badge and printed conference guide will be available at the check-in desk located inside the main entrance to the venue.

Innovation Exhibition: A collection of Vendors expo Stands will fill the C3 Convention Centre's large Atrium featuring displays, demonstrations, merchandise, information and industry contacts. Delegates can engage with vendor representatives during the day, between presentation sessions and during the lunch break. Delegates who opt-in during the registration process to share their contact details with participating vendors have the chance to win a new Dell laptop computer. 

Presentation Sessions: Commencing at 9.30am there will be two simultaneous streams of presentation sessions held in the Anglesea Room and Auditorium. Each of the 10 presentation sessions will last 40 minutes, with a 10 minute break between each session to allow delegates to refresh, grab a complimentary tea or coffee, visit the Vendors expo Stands in the Innovation Exhibition or buy a snack from the onsite Rivulet Cafe. 

Tasmanian Government ICT Industry Summit: The last presentation sessions of the day is an ICT Industry Summit conducted by the Tasmanian Government. This extended stand alone presentation includes information from the state Government directly impacting the local ICT industry. In addition to the presentations, an opportunity will be made available for delegates to interact. The ICT Industry Summit takes place in the C3 Convention Centre Auditorium.

TasICT Gala Dinner: Tables of 10 and individual ticket sales are available for the annual TasICT Gala Dinner after the Tasmanian ICT Conference. The evening of networking begins at 6.30 when pre-dinner drinks are served in the Atrium. Then guests are seated in the Auditorium for a 7.30pm start to the Gala Dinner. The evening includes a range of premium, lite and non-alcoholic beers, white, red and sparkling wines and soft drinks as well as a delicious three-course meal. There will be an address from the TasICT President and Minister for Science & Technology as well as the announcement of Tasmanian Pearcey Entrepreneur of the Year winner who will go on to represent the State at the National Awards.

Souvenir Programme: Gala Dinner guests will each receive a complimentary 16 page Souvenir Programme to commemorate the special event. In addition to important Industry information, the publication will contain messages from our industry leaders, advertising from our major sponsors and a dinner menu and wine guide.
