2023 UpSchool Interschool Pitch Competition

Wade Institute welcomes participating students, parents, teachers, school leaders, and guests to the 2023 UpSchool Interschool Pitch Competition.

Five student teams from participating schools Brighton Grammar, Caulfield Grammar, Haileybury College, and Strathcona Girls Grammar will be pitching their innovative solutions to issues they see in the world today. The teams will have a chance to win awards and prizes!

We've lined up high-calibre judges from the startup ecosystem to provide valuable feedback to each team:TBC

Whilst the judges determine the winners, you’ll get to have your say by casting a LIVE vote for your favourite team in the People’s Choice Award!

The event aims to showcase the amazing efforts of our UpSchool teachers in delivering entrepreneurship education at their respective schools, and networking opportunities for students, parents, teachers, school leaders to network across schools. Who knows, perhaps the next big IDEA will come from an interschool consortium.

When: Thursday, 30 November 2023

• 5:30-6pm: Networking drinks and nibbles
• 6-7.30pm: Pitch Competition
• 7:30-8pm: Optional networking

Where: Wade Institute, Ormond College, 49 College Crescent, Parkville

Dress: Smart casual

By car: There is some street parking around College Crescent and surrounding streets. Alternatively, there are paid parking options nearby - more info.

By tram: Take the #19 tram to #13 Gatehouse St stop, which is across the road from the College.
