This practical workshop provides participants with effective strategies for managing the return to work for complex cases, with topics including:

common barriers to return to work, and strategies to address these
stakeholder engagement in return to work planning, including working with doctors, injured workers, and managers & supervisors
the importance of a positive return to work culture, and strategies for creating a positive return to work culture.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

At the completion of this course, participants will:

have an understanding of common barriers to return to work
be able to effectively engage with key stakeholders to facilitate safe and sustainable return to work
be able to identify strategies to address barriers to effective return to work planning.

RECOMMENDED FOR

This course is applicable for a national audience and is aimed at Return to Work Coordinators specifically working in personal injury management. This course would also suit HR specialists managing injured workers as well as any leader within an organisation who has an interest in supporting return to work initiatives.
