2023 Year Eleven Semi Formal

Traditionally, the Semi Formal is a significant event in the lives of our Year Eleven students and one of the highlights of the year. 

By attending this compulsory event, the cohort are supporting their peers in a student-led initiative that provides them an opportunity to connect and celebrate a memorable event.

Date: Thursday, 15 June 2023

Time: 6.00pm – 9.00pm

Location: Coleman Centre, John Paul College

Cost: $120 per student

RSVP: 9.00pm Wednesday 7 June 2023

Attendance:

Students will finish school after Lesson 4 on Thursday 15 June. It is expected that students will be in attendance at school up until 1:05pm.

Dress Expectations

Students are expected to wear semi-formal clothing that is suitable for a school event. Given the Semi-Formal will be held in the Coleman Centre in June, consideration should be given to the need for warm clothing in the evening as the venue can only be heated to some degree. An overcoat and/or jacket would be appropriate for this winter event.

Photography

Professional photographers will be in attendance during the evening, with several photographic opportunities available. After the event, students will be able to download high-quality copies of the professional photos which are inclusive of the price.

Drop-off and Pick-up

Parents and carers are encouraged to use the drop-off zone in Markwell carpark and at the conclusion of the evening, pick-up is promptly at 9.00pm. Students must be collected by parents and carers as it is school policy students are not permitted to travel by rideshare services
