Welcome to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Research and Innovation Forum!

The 2024 UQ Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Research and Innovation Forum will be held during Research and Innovation Week.

Recognising the transformative power of narratives in conveying truths and shaping collective understanding the 2024 forum will explore research into and through stories as vehicles for truth-telling. This includes research that centres on Indigenous stories held in both the University’s archives and collections and beyond, alongside research that uses storying as a method and research that produces stories as outputs. Held in the University of Queensland Art Museum, the Forum will engage critically with the place of institutions as holders of Indigenous stories.
