2024 Accessibility Awareness Tour

To highlight the importance of accessible communities, Accessibility Capricornia Community Group invite you to attend an Accessibility Awareness Tour in the

Yeppoon CBD, followed by a small lunch to celebrate people with disability and the many amazing Carer’s as part of Carers Week 2024!.

We welcome attendees with lived experience of disability to share their challenges and stories throughout the tour.

Attendees will be provided an opportunity to take part in an accessibility challenge.

This tour will assist attendees, Council and businesses to develop a greater understanding of the experiences of people with disabilities in accessing their communities and highlight the importance of good access!

The tour is designed to be fun but more importantly informative, generating discussions around inclusiveness and sharing stories.

Lunch and light refreshments provided at the conclusion of the tour.
