Event description

The 2024 wines have been maturing in the cellar since vintage. Now we are preparing for the next important stage in the wine making process, tasting and assessing the barrels prior to blending.

Winemakers Alastair Butt and Tom Lightfoot have identified a diverse selection to highlight the various qualities a barrel can impart on an overall blend. We invite you to be a part of this important stage of the winemaking process at our 2024 Vintage Barrel Tasting & Lunch.

After tasting a selection of individual barrels, a limited edition Pinot Noir will be blended, available exclusively to those in attendance. The tasting and wine blending exercise will be followed by a grazing style lunch featuring locally sourced produce prepared by chef Rob Turner and the team at Northern Ground.
