Join us at Laian restaurant for a flavour sensation where East meets West, with the backdrop of the iconic Geraldton Cathedral and the Mid West night sky. Guests will be taken on a flavour journey where fresh Mid West produce is carefully paired with traditional Middle Eastern flavours and spices.
Chef Nadeem came to Australia as a refugee from Jordan with his family in 2016 to start a new life in Darwin. On a visit to Geraldton Nadeem held a buffet dinner with some locals, there was instant support to help him set up Laian. The rest as they say is history!
Laian Restaurant is named after Nadeem’s little sister, Laian meaning ‘blessing of new life’. Nadeem is passionate about food and flavour, in a fusion he named Middle – Eastern –Geraldton, over the past 18 months he’s carved out a unique and vibrant menu that locals and visitors flock too.
Join us for a night filled with entertainment, colour and flavour to celebrate culture, community and friendship that has helped create the Laian you see today.
Non-alcoholic drinks are included in your ticket, other drinks can be purchased from the bar.
Dietaries such as gluten free, vegan and vegetarian can be catered for, unfortunately all dishes do contain garlic and onion, and these cannot be removed.
