    We invite you to join us for the annual Fathers of Lauriston Dinner. In the lead-up to the Paris 2024 Olympics it will feature a panel discussion on what it takes to achieve at the highest levels in sports: A School for Life: Lessons from the Olympics and elite sports.

    New Venue

    This year, we look forward to gathering at the hallowed turf of the MCG, which was also the main stadium for the 1956 Olympic Games.

    Special Guests

    In addition to Susan Just, we will be joined by a panel of Old Lauristonian (OL) Olympic and elite sporting professionals showcasing some of the achievements of Lauriston graduates in the sporting world and beyond:
    • Panel Moderator: Lisa Hasker OAM (OL 1985) – CEO, VicSport
    • Jeni Lidgett-Danks OLY (OL 1981) – Olympic Sailing (Barcelona 1992 & Atlanta 1996)
    • Victoria Brown OLY (OL 2003) – Olympic Water Polo (Bronze at London 2012)
    • Dr. Dani Gescheit (OL 2007) – Head of Professional Tennis Operations, Tennis Australia and Team Manager for the Paris Olympics Australian Tennis Team
    • Beattie Goad (OL 2015) – Soccer player for the Matildas, Melbourne Victory & Stanford University

    Raffle

    We will also be holding our annual raffle! All proceeds from this raffle will go towards The Foundation Scholarship. This needs-based Foundation Scholarship provides financial assistance to a student who would otherwise be unable to experience a Lauriston education. We are proud to support the Foundation Scholarships which will provide full tuition, books and uniform to students entering Year 7 until graduation in Year 12, including Howqua.
