Linda is going to cook a traditional Chinese dish, Black Pepper Beef. The main ingredients are beef, capsicum and onions. It is a dish that is enjoyed throughout the year, not just for special occasions.
Linda comes from China and has lived in Aotearoa for seven years. She cooks Chinese food frequently at home because it’s delicious and healthy, and she can buy all the ingredients she needs from the Christchurch Asian Market. Linda misses the food and cheaper prices in China but she likes New Zealand because it has wonderful scenery and friendly people. In her spare time Linda likes to read, practise yoga and play bridge.
