The Dutch Delights are Back!
Hillie and Ina will be baking some traditional Dutch Christmas treats.Â
You will be guaranteed some laughter and a good time with the sisters from Holland as they welcome you back for the fourth year in a row.
A well-kept secret from the land of windmills and cheese is their fabulous cuisine that includes some of Europe’s finest bakers and bakeries.
Speculaas biscuits that you can hang in your tree, is a sweet cinnamon spice to go with a hot chocolate or cuppa coffee.
Bokkenpootjes is a family favourite with a splash of chocolate that the children love.
Banketstaaf is a delicious almond filled pastry that looks as good as it tastes.
These treats will compliment your traditional Christmas mince pies.
As this is not a main meal there will be some Dutch small goods ( rosbief. Leverworst. Rook vlees ) and spreads ( gestampte muisjes. Hagelslag and vlokken ) with bread rolls to start us off before we eat the biscuits.
