Event description

Lubia Polo - Green Bean Rice

Join Ruhi in cooking this classic Persian green bean rice dish that's flavoured with warm and aromatic spices.

Ruhi came to New Zealand from Iran with her husband and 9 month old daughter in 1988. They also have another daughter who was born in New Zealand.

Ruhi still likes to cook food from Iran if she can source the ingredients. She found that there are Persian shops in Auckland and Sydney where she can order ingredients for her dishes, but recently it has been too difficult to get these due to the sanctions on Iranian goods.

We look forward to you joining in this class and learning more about Persian food.
