2024 Gold Coast Student Excellence Awards

The Gold Coast Student Excellence Awards are presented by the Mayor of the City of Gold Coast and Experience Gold Coast. 

The annual awards recognise and celebrate outstanding students in six different categories and acknowledge the positive impact they’ve made within our community.

Held at HOTA, this year’s gala award night will be a lively Day of the Dead themed event for nominees, fellow students and Gold Coast’s education industry. Dance the night away to live music from local legends, The Hanlon Brothers, enjoy canapes at the Sunset Welcome Reception and feast on a two-course sit down dinner.

Time: 5.30 - 9.30pm
Venue: Lakeside Terrace at HOTA (Home of the Arts), 135 Bundall Rd, Surfers Paradise
Dress code:  
Ladies - Formal gown or cocktail dress. Colours can be navy blue, black, gold or floral.
Gentlemen - Black tie, formal. Colours can be black, dark grey or floral.

Ticket Pricing Tiers

Student Ticket: $40

• This ticket is valid for currently enrolled Gold Coast students only
• Ticket holder must carry a valid Student ID Card for verification purposes

Non-Student Ticket: $70

• This ticket is valid for any family member or friend of any currently enrolled student and any professional from the Gold Coast industry, business & entrepreneurship community
