2024 GPS Swimming Camp

The annual Terrace GPS Swimming Camp will again be held at the Gold Coast Recreation Centre (Tallebudgera).

The camp is an essential part of preparation for the 2023 GPS Swimming Team. All swimmers in Year 7 (boys born 2011 only) + Years 8 - 12 for the 2024 school year are encouraged to attend. This is an opportunity to start the 2024 season with a focused effort and to build team spirit ahead of the Swimming season & 2024 GPS Swimming Championships.  This camp has limited capacity to 50 swimmers only, so please make your booking as soon as possible.

CAMP INFORMATION

DATE: 19-21 January 2024

LOCATION: Gold Coast Recreation Centre, Tallebudgera

COST: $250.00 per swimmer (includes all transport, meals and accommodation)

REGISTRATION: Registration for the camp is required via Parent Lounge (for all current students)

Incoming new enrolments for Year 7 (born 2011) will be via College Events – please contact the Sports Office if you require assistance – sport@terrace.qld.edu.au

PROGRAM: Camp starts on Friday 19 January 2024 at 7:00am with a meeting at Duhig Place (above Terrace Pool). We will complete our first training session of the camp in the Terrace Pool before having a BBQ Breakfast at Mt Sion and then moving to Tallebudgera to continue our camp.  Breakfast will be provided by the Supporters Group on Day 1.  Swimmers will return to Terrace on Sunday 21 January at 2:00pm.
