Travel instructions
The Library does not have on-site parking, but there is paid street parking on La Trobe Street and several pay car parks close by, including at Melbourne Central and QV. There are three parking spaces for people with a disability permit on La Trobe Street. If using public transport, Melbourne Central station and a tram stop for 10 tram routes are directly opposite the Library's Swanston Street entrance.
Entry instructions
Enter via the main entrance on Swanston Street. This entrance has stairs, but there is a step-less entry ramp to the main entrance from La Trobe Street, near the corner of Swanston Street.
After entry instructions
The Ian Potter Queen's Hall is located on level 3 (note that the main entrance is level 2). Use either set of stairs from the foyer, or the lift located on the left before the stairs. Library staff will be present to provide directions.
Toilet location
There are accessible toilets in the Ian Potter Queen's Hall. They are located at the end of the room to your left as you enter the Ian Potter Queen's Hall.
Accessible parking
There are three parking spaces for people with a disability permit on La Trobe Street.
Hearing Loop
There is a hearing loop within the Ian Potter Queen's Hall. Please turn your hearing aid to the T switch to use it.
