2024 Julia Gillard Public Lecture

The University of Adelaide is hosting its annual Julia Gillard Public Lecture once again in 2024.

Former Prime Minister of Australia the Hon Julia Gillard AC will facilitate an informed conversation on the rise of artificial intelligence in Australia across areas including politics, education, health and defence.

Professor Gillard will be accompanied by University of Adelaide panellists:

• Professor Simon Lucey, Director, Australian Institute for Machine Learning
• Professor Carolyn Semmler, Lead, Applied Cognition and Experimental Psychology (ACEP) research group
• Dr Samuel White, Senior Lecturer (School of Law) and Cybersecurity Postdoctoral Research Fellow
