2024 Learn Local Awards

The Learn Local Awards are held annually by the Adult, Community and Further Education (ACFE) Board to celebrate the exceptional efforts and achievements of individuals, programs and training providers within the Learn Local sector.

Celebrating their 18th year in 2024, the Learn Local Awards highlight the spirit of collaboration and innovation of the Learn Local sector. The Learn Local sector provides opportunities for so many Victorians to re-engage through safe, supported learning experiences to gain the confidence and skills they need for study, work and life.

At the awards gala you will enjoy entertainment, a three-course meal and beverages. 

This year the Gala ceremony will be emceed by the highly entertaining Shane Jacobson. Shane Jacobson is one of Australia’s most loved, award-winning actors, presenters and entertainers. His incredible and varied career spans over 40 years both here at home and internationally.

The Sweethearts give a refreshing take on modern, classic & neo soul with their trademark Sass. This all-female soul band has won over audiences on the world's best stages including return appearances at Montreux Jazz Festival, Jazz a Vienne & Porretta Soul Festival!

Their infectious drawing power has gained the attention of Soul legends including Bernard Purdie, Gil Askey, 'Pee Wee' Elis, Vivian Sessoms and Maceo Parker.
