National Permaculture Hui 2024
Event description
It's been a few years since we were all able to come together. Which is why this year, we seek to reconnect to each other; to ideas, tools and technology that will support us in our kaupapa; and to reconnect to the whenua and whakapapa of permaculture in Aotearoa, all with a perspective of forward progression.
So join us in Taranaki for a fully catered event with amazing guest speakers from across the motu, hands-on activities, regional networking workshops, Saturday night entertainment and access to a range of sustainable backyards.
Permaculture in New Zealand is excited to have our event at the Green School, which in their own words, "aspires to educate changemakers for a positive, sustainable world".
We are also thrilled to hold the event during the Taranaki Sustainable Backyards Trail, which celebrates its 10th anniversary this year. This presents an opportunity for our members to visit and explore the most inspiring backyards in the region. Make time and plan your schedule because there's lots you can see and do during the festival, from solar panels to bio-intensive vegetable gardens and orchards. It's another great opportunity to be inspired by what everyday people can do to live a more sustainable life.
THIS IS AN ALCOHOL- VAPE- & SMOKE-FREE EVENT*
*Because of the venue and the location of the Hui we have made the decision to make this an event free of alcohol, smoking & vaping in the interest of participants' safety and to make sure that everyone arrives at the event & at their accommodation safely.
Permaculture in New Zealand is a charity and we are not registered for GST.
