The finalist exhibition will be presented at Artspace between 5 July – 8 September. This edition will be co-curated by Artspace’s Executive Director, Alexie Glass-Kantor; Associate Curator, Sarah Rose; and Associate Curator, Yuanyu Li
The six 2024 NSW Visual Arts Fellowship (Emerging) finalists are: Kalanjay Dhir, Remy Faint, Charlotte Haywood, Gillian Kayrooz, Kien Situ and Talia Smith.
Each year, Create NSW convenes a judging panel of esteemed colleagues to assess the highly competitive pool of applications and select the exhibition finalists and the Fellowship recipient. Curators Alexie Glass-Kantor, Sarah Rose and Yuanyu Li work closely with each of the artists throughout the development of the exhibition. Of the 6 finalists, one artist will be awarded the Fellowship at the opening night of the exhibition, Thursday 4 July at 6.30pm.
