    Event description

Join us at the Ravenswood Australian Women's Art Prize Opening Night where we celebrate the talent of Australia's finest women artists.  Immerse yourself in the artworks of all our finalists, be part of the excitement as we announce our winners, meet our judges and some of the talented artists, and be the first to purchase artworks which go on sale following the announcement of winners.

Your ticket price includes exhibition entry and a blend of art and gastronomy with Trippas White Group (TWG). Discover selected wines by Australia's top Sommelier, Louella Mathews (TWG Group Sommelier), matching the bespoke menu crafted by TWG Executive Chef Tony Panetta, ensuring a memorable culinary journey.

Guests will also be invited to submit their vote for the Peoples' Choice Award.

The Ravenswood Australian Women's Art Prize is an annual acquisitive prize that was launched in 2017 to advance art and opportunity for emerging and established women artists in Australia. It is the highest value professional artist prize for women in Australia.

    • Professional Artist Prize - $35,000
    • Emerging Artist Prize - $5,000
    • Indigenous Emerging Artist Prize - $5,000
    • Peoples’ Choice Award of $2,000 plus a $500 art pack.

Artists are asked to enter an artwork that best reflects their art practice - there is no theme. Artwork judging is overseen by a panel of esteemed judges led by Ravenswood Australian Women's Art Prize Patron and acclaimed artist, Jade Oakley.
