We would like to welcome you to the 2024 SA Educators Conference, hosted by the SA Highly Accomplished and Lead Teacher Network (SA HALT Network).
The SA HALT Network serves as a dedicated professional association for Highly Accomplished and Lead Teachers, aspiring HALTs, HALT Assessors, and HALT Alumni across South Australia. We are part of the National AITSL HALT Network, as well as Educators SA. With a membership base of over 120 active participants, our primary objective is to advance excellence in teaching by fostering professional learning opportunities and facilitating networking opportunities for high-achieving educators. We bring together HALTs from all educational sectors including the Department of Education (DfE) to Catholic Education South Australia (CESA) and the Association of Independent Schools of South Australia (AISSA).
The overarching theme for our conference this year is ‘To Connect,’ emphasising the importance of collaboration and networking to enhance the professional practice, knowledge and experience of educators, ultimately improving student outcomes. We anticipate the participation of over 100 educators including HALTs and aspiring HALTs and this year, we have opened the Conference to educators who are excelling in their field, with a focus on Early Career Teachers. The Association supports all educators, regardless of career stage, therefore everyone is welcome to connect with us at this year's conference.
