2024 SAASLA Conference - Thriving in the Country

Thrive in the Country is the theme of the South Australian Area School Leaders Association 2024 conference.

Speakers Mike House, a WA Survival Instructor, speaker and facilitator, is passionate about building resilience in teams and individuals and providing tools for high pressure situations, and
Dr Chris Dolan will share the findings of the South Australian joint Association research on Illuminating Principal Practice with an emphasis on Area Schools.

Also featured is Chief Executive - Prof. Martin Westwell, Deputy CE – Peter Kelly, Hon Fiona Nash - Regional Education Commissioner, Country Education Strategy input and update, Best Practice Awards, SAASLA AGM, conference dinner and the 2024 Rural Youth Ambassadors.There are free optional tours of Illumination Lab (virtual reality in Education) 4pm – 5.30pm Thursday - transport provided, and Adelaide Botanic High School Friday 2pm – 3.30pm.

Accommodation options are available onsite at the Hotel Grand Chancellor, mention you are a SAASLA Conference delegate for accommodation rates of $160 per night, optional full buffet breakfast $32 and car parking $25 per day.
