Accommodation in 2024
The Annual Dinner is held during the university semester, and as a result, we will be unable to offer accommodation as students will still be residing at the College.
The good news is that we have been able to arrange alternative accommodation at the nearby Rydges Hotel at a special St Andrew’s rate of $195 per night. This offer is available online via their website: https://www.rydges.com/private-page/st-andrews-college/
Giving Back to CollegeÂ
Every year, the SACAS Annual Dinner and Golf Day events encourage alumni to make a gift in support of a current area of need. Last year, attendees at both events helped to raise almost $4,000 towards the Main Building Bedroom upgrade.
In 2024, the SACAS Committee, College and Foundation are working together to raise funds for the much-needed Junior Common Room Upgrade.
The plans involve transforming the underutilized room and courtyard into a versatile space that serves as a café during the day and transforms into an evening bar as required for events. The renovation will offer students additional study spaces, comfortable dining areas, and a functional café that we can also invite alumni and parents to use. A vibrant and purposeful Junior Common Room is vital for enhancing the student experience at a residential college.
Thanks to the St Andrew's College Alumni Society, every dollar donated towards the JCR Upgrade, up to a total contribution of $100K, will be matched. This means that your donation will have twice the impact today!
Every gift counts, no matter the size, and 100% of all donations go directly towards the project. The fresher years with the most gifts and most raised will also be acknowledged for their efforts at the Annual Dinner.
