CANBERRA/KAMBERRI: PLACE + PEOPLE

Lower Primary (1-4) And Upper Primary (5-6)

With rich links to the Australian Curriculum, the program will give students an insight into Canberra’s social and cultural history, told through objects of daily use and special significance, artworks of purposeful creativity and moving images made for screens large and small. Structured as a chronological narrative, the exhibition addresses key themes across five date periods. Students will explore the exhibition in the gallery space, then further investigate concepts with an art-making session in the CMAG studio.
