2024 Silicon Alley Sports Golf and Pickleball Invitational

You are invited to attend the 17th Annual Silicon Alley Golf Invitational and 2nd Annual Silicon Alley Pickleball Invitational. The invite-only event is on May 6 and is graciously supported by Bain Capital, The Buddy Group, and Hunt Club. All monies left over from hosting the event will be donated to a charity TBD. Over the years, we've donated to a range of charities including Code.org, Meals on Wheels, American Cancer Society, Mozilla Foundation, Charity Water, and many others.

Join entrepreneurs, founders, venture & PE investors, executives, and digital ecosystem supporters outside the office or boardroom and on the field or court. Hundreds of folks have joined us in years past, and we are looking forward to a solid showing in 2024 after a fabulous 2023 event.

There are 68 slots for golf, 24 for pickleball, and 30 for folks who want to join for drinks, lunch and networking after sports are over.

Each participating player will choose golf or pickleball; unfortunately, you cannot play both as they take place at roughly the same time.

As with all our Silicon Alley Sports events, we handle the pairing of all attendees. We do our best to make each team competitive and help facilitate networking and making the most out of the event. This is our signature differentiator, and it helps everyone meet new folks.

Event flow (subject to change):

• Golfers will arrive for a warm breakfast 7-8:30am.
• Golfers will have the ability to practice their putts, chips, and drives.
• Golfers will take the course for the Silicon Alley Golf Invitational by 8:45am.
• Pickleball players can arrive anytime before 9:30am and breakfast will be served.
• Pickleball players will begin their pro-led practice session around 9:30am.
• Pickleball tournament will start at 10:30am.
• Golf + Pickleball should be over around 1p EST.
• Nongolf or pickleball players will arrive by 1p EST.
• BBQ luncheon, awards, networking, and keynote will take place from 1-3:30p EST.

A beautiful full-service locker room and facilities will be available for anyone who wants to freshen up before or after the events.

We cannot control the weather; we plan to play in most scenarios. If there is a storm, heavy rain, or lightning, we cannot play and will look to reschedule the event. We will play if there is light rain or off/on rain throughout the day. We will monitor the weather closely, and in the event of bad weather, we will notify everyone the evening prior.

All monies left over from hosting this event will be donated. We will be choosing our cause closer to the event.

Refunds will be allowed up to 30 days prior to event. Within the 30-day window, we cannot give refunds as we will have made commitments to all of our vendors and the country club.
