2024 Silicon Alley Tennis Invitational

We are excited to announce the upcoming July 24 Silicon Alley Tennis Invitational, following the success of our fun and inspiring May 6 Silicon Alley Sports event.

This sure-to-be-sold-out event has 36 spots available, and we would love to have you join us. As in previous years, we will be playing on the beautiful har-tru courts of the Ardsley Country Club, under the leadership of tennis pro John Cassas and his incredible staff. We welcome all gender, race, and ethnicities at our events.

The tennis will start at 3:15 pm EST and run until approximately 6:30-7 pm, when we will have a BBQ dinner and drinks overlooking the courts. We may even have some special tennis guests join us for some off the record tennis Q&A. This event is geared towards tennis enthusiasts within Silicon Alley and promises to be a lot of fun.

Please note that we request all participants to have at least a USTA NTRP 3.5 rating, meaning that you can serve, keep rallies going, and ideally, have played doubles before. By abiding by this minimum player ability, everyone can have a great time.

Similar to previous years, we will assign double partners at the event. Similar to last year, we will have a slightly different format, which follows the successful format we used during the pickleball tournament - switching double partners after each match. This allows for even greater networking and playability. Kudos to Lee Nadler for raising this idea to us a couple of seasons ago.

Refunds are available up to 30 days prior to event (June 24 is cut-off). If it rains, we'll have to reschedule the event. Lets hope that does not happen.
