What to expect
The TechDiversity Awards in 2023 welcomed visionaries like Miranda Ratajski, Chief Information Officer at Westpac, who ignited the stage with her passion for diversity and inclusion, emphasising how it leads to tangible business success. Janean Richards, Head of Division, Science and Commercialisation at the Department of Industry Science and Resources, who shared compelling stories of transformation and change. Her insights shed light on the pivotal role of diversity in driving innovation and shaping the tech industry.
In 2024, our attention shifts to the enduring influence of DE+I on businesses, individuals, and society at large. Esteemed speakers will delve into the ongoing evolution, exploring how DE+I initiatives persist in reshaping industries, empowering individuals, and fostering profound societal change. The TechDiversity Awards gala dinner stands as a highly anticipated occasion where the winners of each category, heralding diversity and innovation, will be unveiled in a fun and festive atmosphere.
Dress Code
We encourage guests to dress in clothing that is comfortable and reflects their personal style or cultural heritage, while still adhering to professional standards. Please ensure that your attire is respectful, avoids offensive or inappropriate elements, and contributes positively to the gala dinner event. By doing so, we aim to foster a fun and inclusive event where everyone feels valued, included, and able to express themselves authentically.
Attendee Registration & Issuance of Name Badge
- No Physical or Electronic Tickets Required: There is no necessity for physical or electronic tickets for entry to the gala dinner.
- Details Needed: Attendees must provide their full name, organisation name (current or former organisation they belonged to), job title, email, phone number, dietary and or accessibility requirements if any, and any seating arrangement request.
- Registration Process: Attendees will simply need to state their full name and organisation name to the registration staff.
- Issuance of Name Badge: Attendees will be issued a name badge accordingly, granting them access to the gala dinner.
- Spreadsheet Submission: All attendees are required to fill in their details in the provided spreadsheet. Please coordinate this with Theresa.
