2024 Term 4 PL and AGM
Event description
Join us for our Term 4 AGM and Professional Learning opportunity on Inclusion in the Languages Classroom.
More details on the PL part of the evening can be found below:
Cathy Galligan has been a primary teacher for 24 years, in classrooms and as a language specialist in regional, remote, internation and urban schools. She has worked in Western Qld, the NT, and Vanuatu. Cathy's varied and adventurous career has taught her much about the preconceptions that can be roadblocks to inclusion, as well as being a great deal of fun! She lives on the Gold Coast with two dogs, a grumpy cat and a teenage daughter. Having taught for over 10 years as the French teacher at Benowa State School Cathy recently made the change to a bigger school and full-time work as a French teacher at Caningeraba State School. This session is a reflection on her journey in inclusion, including practical tips and tricks for specialist language teachers (of all languages).Â
