Vaughn Eaglebear is known through the Indigenous Nations as the Native Comic who wrote and performed the song “John Wayne’s Teeth” in the movie “Smoke Signals,” this Lakota/Colville is like an amusement park ride for the brain. Vaughn leaves his audiences with a severe dose of comedy whiplash. An accomplished Pow Wow drummer, singer, and emcee, the multi-talented Eaglebear has some of the best Indigenous one-liners, such as: "April showers bring May flowers and Mayflowers bring pilgrims.” Vaughn's first national appearance was in the groundbreaking stand-up comedy special "Goin' Native: The American Indian Comedy Slam, No Reservations Needed," A.K.A The Native American Comedy Slam that initially premiered on the Showtime Networks.
