2024 TTM Roadshows - Gisborne
Event description
The Temporary Traffic Management Industry Steering Group (ISG) and Civil Contractors New Zealand (CCNZ) are pleased to be bringing one of 13 FREE regional TTM roadshows to Gisborne on Wednesday 4 September 2024.
These roadshows are designed to expand understanding of risk-based TTM and engage the diverse range of stakeholders involved in the TTM sector as we work together to transition toward a more risk-based approach to TTM. Each roadshow will:
- Explore risk-based TTM, with a focus on expected outcomes and benefits
- Provide an understanding PCBU responsibilities and roles within the HSWA
- Maximise collaboration among different PCBU types to enhance efficiency and safety in TTM
- Promote the CCNZ Practice Note for Protecting Vulnerable Road Users in Temporary Traffic Management Environments.
Attendees can expect presentations and interactive activities exploring risk, risk-based TTM solutions, PCBU duties, planning, roles and responsibilities, as well as tools and resources available to support a risk-based approach, and presentation of the Practice Note.
The event will close with Q&A session led by a panel of local representatives (including contractor, RCA and TTM supplier), to explore real-world applications of risk-based approaches relevant to your region.
The formal programme will be followed by light refreshments, so please feel free to hang around after.
